Teach
Successful learning rarely happens by chance. I foster successful learning by engaging learners, developing intentional teaching-learning strategies, and implementing them skillfully. Having facilitated instruction for thousands of adult learners in more than 25 different technology, business, and education courses, I create collaborative learning experiences. I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the face-to-face, blended, online, and accelerated environments using learner-centered techniques.
I have a long-term relationship with the Wisconsin Technical College System for which I am an instructional design strategist and instructor of business and technology courses. I’m an adjunct instructor in Career and Technical Education at the University of Wisconsin, and a National Training Institute (NTI) professional educator for the electrical training alliance.
Excellent teaching is characterized by a commitment to inclusive learning. I am a recognized advocate of the systemic implementation of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) strategies as a matter of social equity, and I frequently write and speak about how to cultivate inclusive online learning environments.
