DESIGN |
Nancy Chapko collaboratively planned and conducted a DACUM (Design A Curriculum) meeting to explore Advanced Manufacturing with employers in the southeastern Wisconsin technical colleges’ districts. The DACUM was an essential first step in an examination of joint programming goals among the represented technical colleges. During the DACUM, information was gathered to create a process for technical colleges to prepare students for jobs in Advanced Manufacturing. |

" ... as always Nancy does an amazing job tying the material directly to the retail business specifically for the [contracted organization's] classes. It makes digesting and understanding the content much easier, as well as helps us apply the topics to our everyday work." (Associate Degree Student - Management Principles, 2020) |

Nancy has helped to coach and mentor me to improve my abilities in course design and development. This has included extensive coaching on connecting students to difficult course material though better course design, student activities with different student learning styles and student assessments. She has observed my classrooms and teaching style and communicated areas for improvement. (Mechanical Engineering Technology Instructor - Program Development Project, 2018) |
